Keepsakes
Keepsakes is a story about two sisters. While trying to deal with and support each other through the loss of a relative, they discover a (badly-kept!) secret- but manage to get themselves and others into trouble in the process. It's up to the two of them to try to mend fences, get out of danger, and figure out who else might be familiar with the stranger elements of their grandparents' old hometown.
This is a YA/all-ages comic, but as with all things, can't hurt to give it a read yourself before passing it along to the kids in your life.
Dustin of Geekadelphia writes that Keepsakes is " [...] filled with personality. There’s a very slice of life base to the story that gets infused with a very Miyazaki like fantasy element. I found myself smiling the entire time I read it."
